🚀 Green Document - SUSE AI Demo Lab

🚀 Quick Start

✨ Cluster Setup

In this green document, K3s will be used for cluster setup.

Create Namespaces

Create the cert-manager namespace:

kubectl create namespace cert-manager

Create the suseai namespace:

kubectl create namespace suseai

📦 Rancher Fleet Configuration

Create secrets for each namespace:

kubectl -n cert-manager create secret docker-registry quayio \
  --docker-username=quay.io \
  --docker-password="yourpassword" \
  --docker-server=docker.io

Save the following content as a Chart.yaml file and apply it to the cert-manager namespace:

helm repo add jetstack https://charts.jetstack.io && helm repo update

📦 GreenDoc Configuration

Create a file named GreenDoc-deployment.yaml and apply it to the suseai namespace.

💻 Usage Examples

MCP Service Configuration

1. Open the MCP management interface:

   • Login address: http://mcp-service.suseai.svc.cluster.local:8000/kubernetes

2. Add a test model and configure the tools.

3. Configure Open - WebUI to use the MCP server:

   • Open the management settings of Open - WebUI and enter the tool configuration interface.
   • Enter the MCP service address: http://mcp-service.suseai.svc.cluster.local:8000/kubernetes

4. Test function calls:

   • Enable "Native function call" and select the added tool.
   • Enter the query: "List the pods in the suseai namespace."

Open - WebUI Tool Configuration

1. Enter the model management interface and click the edit button.

2. Configure the parameters:

   • Set "Function call" to "Native".
   • Select the added tool.

3. Compare the test results:

   • Display the query results with and without tool support.
