📦 Installation

1. API Key

First, obtain a CloudGlue API key from cloudglue.dev. This key will be used to authenticate your CloudGlue account through the MCP Server.

2. Configure the MCP Client

Next, configure your MCP client (e.g., Claude Desktop) to use this MCP Server. Most MCP clients store configurations in JSON format. For cloudglue-mcp-server, it might look like this:

Replace <YOUR-API-KEY> with the API key you created in Step 1. Alternatively, you can use the --api-key CLI flag to pass the API key via an environment variable.

🔧 Local Development Setup

You can build this server locally using the following commands:

npm run build

3. Configure the MCP Client

• chat_with_video_collection: Return chat completion responses obtained from CloudGlue video collections based on prompts. It can be used to quickly search for information in video collections when answering questions or finding videos related to queries.

Describe and Extract Video Information

• describe_cloudglue_video: Return a detailed description of a video uploaded to CloudGlue.
• extract_cloudglue_video_entities: Return detailed entities extracted from a video uploaded to CloudGlue.
• describe_youtube_video: Return a detailed description of a YouTube video.
• extract_youtube_video_entities: Return detailed entities extracted from a YouTube video.
