ChatBI MCP Server is a service that integrates LLM for data analysis. It can generate code through LLM to perform tasks such as data statistics, visualization, and automated analysis.

📦 Installation

🔧 Configure LLM API Key

cp .env.example .env

Edit the .env file and fill in the LLM information. To generate code, it is recommended to fill in relatively powerful models, such as GLM 4.5, Qwen-235B-A22B, Kimi K2, etc. At least use Qwen3-32B. Models with a smaller scale will result in poor code generation quality and analysis effects.

⚙️ Configure ChatBI MCP Server

Use any client that supports MCP Server, such as Cherry Studio, and configure it as follows:

The verification information can be found in the config.yaml file and can be modified manually. The default value is eyJzdWIiOiAidXNlcjEyMyIsICJpYXQiOiAxNzUxODA5ODIwLCAiZXhwIjogMTc1MTgxMzQyMH0.

⚠️ Important Note

Set a longer timeout because it involves code generation by LLM, and error correction may be required if an error occurs.

After adding the configuration, click "Save", then click the enable option in the upper right corner, and switch to the "Tools" tab:

If the tools can be listed normally, it means the configuration is correct.
