📦 Installation

Clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/malloryai/mallory-mcp-server.git
cd mallory-mcp-server

Set up a virtual environment and install dependencies:

# Use uv (recommended)
uv venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate  # On Windows: .venv\Scripts\activate
uv pip install -e .

# Or use pip
python -m venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate  # On Windows: .venv\Scripts\activate
pip install -e .

⚙️ Set up the development environment

git clone https://github.com/malloryai/mallory-mcp-server.git
cd mallory-mcp-server
pip install -r requirements.txt

🎣 Pre - commit hooks

Install and configure pre - commit hooks:

poetry install
pre-commit install

📋 Prerequisites

• Python 3.13 or higher
• uv (recommended) for dependency management

📦 Configuration

Create a file named .env and add the following content:

# Required settings
PORT=8000  # The port on which the service runs
DEBUG=True  # Enable debug mode
SQLITE_URL=file:///db.sqlite3  # Database URL

# Optional settings
LOG_LEVEL=INFO  # Log level
CORS_ENABLED=True  # Whether to enable Cross - Origin Resource Sharing
