Setup

1. Clone this repository:

cd gemini-thinking-mcp

2. Install dependencies:

npm install

3. Create a .env file and add your Google API key:

GEMINI_API_KEY=your-api-key-here

4. Build the project:

npm run build

Configure Claude Desktop

To use this MCP server with Claude Desktop, update your Claude Desktop configuration:

1. Find your Claude Desktop configuration file path:
   • Windows: %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json
   • macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json
2. Add the following to the mcpServers section:
