🏗️ Architecture

The architecture of this project consists of the following components:

• MCP Clients: MCP clients like Claude Desktop that interact with the FastAPI backend.
• FastAPI Server: A Python - based server that exposes Volatility plugins as API endpoints.
• Volatility 3 Framework: The technical core for performing memory forensics analysis.

🚀 Quick Start

Prerequisites

• Install Python (Recommended version: 3.6 or higher).
• Install FastAPI and its dependencies.
• Ensure uvicorn is installed to run the server.

Installation

pip install fastapi uvicorn volutilitis

Start the Server

In the project root directory, run the following command to start the FastAPI server:

uvicorn main:app --reload

By default, the server will be available at http://127.0.0.1:8000.

Configure Claude Desktop

To configure Claude Desktop for interaction, follow these steps:

1. Open a terminal.
2. Navigate to the project directory:

   cd path/to/your/project
   

3. Start the server and set up automatic reloading:

   uvicorn main:app --reload
   

💻 Usage Examples

Basic Usage

To use the MCP client to interact with the FastAPI server, follow these steps:

1. Ensure the server is running.
2. Run your MCP client (e.g., Claude Desktop) in the terminal and connect to the server address http://127.0.0.1:8000.
